Delish List
Less planning. More living.
It's your recipe book. It's your meal planner. It's your grocery list. It's all in one place, working together the way they should.
Save the recipes you love. Plan what you're going to eat. Build a grocery list that knows what you need, combines ingredients, and does the math for you. No more bouncing between apps, scribbling lists, or trying to remember whether you already have enough flour.
Delish List is what happens when you take an everyday problem, think it through, and build something that actually makes sense.
It's designed around the way people cook, shop, and live. Not around engagement metrics, advertising opportunities, or finding new ways to charge you for features.
Your recipes are yours. Your plans are yours. Your grocery list is yours. No distractions. No unnecessary complications. Just a thoughtfully designed tool that makes the everyday business of feeding yourself and the people you care about a little easier.
The best technology doesn't demand your attention. It gives you more time for the things that deserve it.
Hey kid... ...ya like apps?
Delish List Privacy Policy
Effective October 16, 2026
In short: Delish List does not collect, store, share or sell any information about you. Everything you put in the app stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing.
Delish List has no accounts or sign-in. It has no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash reporting. We never receive your recipes, grocery lists, meal plans, photos, notes or anything else you enter, and we have no servers that could.
What stays on your device
- Your recipes, grocery lists, meal plans, tags, notes and photos are saved only inside the app on your device.
- Your settings, such as dark mode and store section order, are saved only on your device too.
- Deleting the app deletes this information from the device.
- Your device's own backups (for example, iCloud Backup) may include the app's data, according to your device settings. Those backups are handled by Apple, not by us.
Backup files you make
Settings › Backup & Restore can save your whole library to a single file. That file goes where you choose, such as the Files app, iCloud Drive or a message to yourself. You control it, and it is never sent to us.
Importing a recipe from a website
This is the only time Delish List uses the internet:
- When you ask it to import a recipe from a web address, the app downloads that page directly from that website, the same way a web browser would.
- That website receives the request, including your device's internet address, as it would from any visit. Its own privacy policy applies to that.
- Nothing from your library is sent with the request.
- The recipe is read on your device. No text, photos or other content is sent to us or to any other service, including AI services.
Camera and photos
Delish List asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to add a photo to a recipe. Only the photos you pick are copied into the app, and they stay on your device. You can change these permissions at any time in your device's Settings.
Children
Delish List collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Because the app collects nothing, a change could not make past information available to us.
Delish List Support
Recipes, grocery list and meal planner for iPhone and iPad.
Back up your library
- Open Settings (the gear button) › Backup & Restore.
- Tap Back Up Now, then choose where to save the file, such as Files or iCloud Drive.
Delish List also keeps Automatic Copies on the device, which you can go back to from the same screen.
Move to a new iPhone or iPad
- On the old device, save a backup to iCloud Drive or Files.
- Install Delish List on the new device and open Settings › Backup & Restore.
- Tap Restore from a Backup and pick the file. Then choose Merge Into My Library to add it to what's already there, or Replace My Library to use only the backup.
Import a recipe
- From a website: tap the red + on the Recipes page, choose Link to a Website and paste the address. Some websites block apps or don't publish recipe details; for those, copy the recipe text and use Type or Paste Recipe Text.
- From a cookbook: choose Type or Paste Recipe Text, touch and hold in the text box, and choose Scan Text to copy the words from the page with the camera.
- Keep the screen on while you cook: turn on Settings › Recipes › Keep screen awake.
- Every import opens for review, so you can check the ingredients and directions before saving.
